I honestly cried at this point
I wish i could just tell everyone how i really feel,and scream it out loud..like this.But,they wouldn’t get it.
I wonder if people know this was about his parents taking away the wifi
The parents taking the wifi was just the breaking point because the friends he made on the internet are gone. He locked himself in his room because people found out he liked the kiss of another guy and he couldn’t take the shit the people were giving him, the death threats and constant ridicule. So it’s NOT just the wifi being taken away.
Also at this part of the scene, his mother was going to plug the wifi back in and his father started practically attacking her for it, he’s yelling “STOP!” as they’re fighting.
Yes this is when the father hits the mother and he is blaming himself.. That scream and fall of defeat isn’t “OMG I’m a teenager I need my wifi life is over” no. I’m sorry I love this movie to death and saying that’s just for the wifi is really offensive. And false.
